Privacy Policy

This policy explains how DCF Feeds Industries ("DCF Feeds", "we", "us") handles personal information on www.dcffeeds.com — this website and nothing else. It is a product-information site: there are no accounts to create, no online ordering and no payments taken here.

The Digital Cattle Farm mobile app is a separate service with its own privacy policy, published at digitalcattlefarm.com/privacy-policy. Nothing you do on this website creates an app account or shares data with your app account.

Details you send us through the contact form. Your name, email address, subject, message and — only if you choose to fill it in — your phone number. Nothing else on this site asks you for personal information.

Usage measurement. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies and records the pages you visit, the site or search that sent you, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device and browser type. We read it in aggregate to see which products farmers look for.

Spam protection.The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which collects device and behaviour signals in order to tell a person from a bot. That collection is Google's, governed by Google's own privacy policy and terms.

Your language choice. If you pick a site language we store it in a cookie named dcf-portal-lang for one year, so the site opens in that language next time. It holds nothing but the language code.

We do not ask for and do not want your farm records, cattle data, bank details or identity documents on this website. Please do not put them in the contact form.

• To answer your enquiry about feed products, pricing, dealership or delivery, by phone or email.
• To follow up on a quotation or an order placed with us over the phone or through a dealer.
• To understand which pages and products visitors are interested in, so we can improve the site.
• To keep the contact form from being used by bots to send spam.

We do not use your details for automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing messages to people who only wrote in with a question.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. It is shared only with:

• Our own team. Contact enquiries are stored on DCF systems and emailed to the DCF Feeds team so someone can reply.
• Service providers. Our website host, our email provider, Google Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA, each only to the extent needed to run this site.
• Authorities, where the law requires it or where it is needed to protect our rights, our staff or the public.

Contact enquiries are kept for as long as they are useful to the customer relationship they started — typically up to three years — and then deleted. Analytics data is retained by Google under its standard retention settings and is not linked to a named person by us. Ask us at any time and we will delete your enquiry sooner.

• This site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the contact form is encrypted in transit.
• Enquiries are readable only by DCF Feeds staff who need to answer them.
• We collect as little as possible: no passwords, no payment details, no documents.

No website can promise perfect security, and we do not claim to.

• Ask what we hold about you, and ask for a copy of it.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your enquiry and contact details.
• Refuse analytics cookies by blocking them in your browser, or by using your browser's Do Not Track or private mode. The site works without them.

This site is meant for dairy farmers and businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.

If we change what we collect or why, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
